Their story, in their words…
Going on the Peak District hike with a group of friends was a hard but memorable experience that challenged us both physically and mentally. The hike required us to walk for a long period of time across difficult and uneven terrain, with steep sections that made the journey tiring. Although there were moments when we felt exhausted and wanted to slow down or stop, being together as a group helped us stay motivated and encouraged each other to keep going.
We experienced the natural scenery of the Peak District, while also having time to talk, joke around and create memories together. The difficult parts of the hike tested our patience, determination and teamwork, but completing the journey gave us a strong sense of achievement.
Overall, despite how challenging it was, the experience was enjoyable and gave us memories that we are likely to remember for a long time.
