Walking Hadrian’s Wall

Their story, in their words…

We walked the length of Hadrian’s wall from Carlisle to Newcastle over the course of 6 days, sleeping at campsites/farms along the way, covering a total of 60 miles and traversing varying elevation of up to 345m.

We did have some hiccups however like unaccounted elevation and navigation issues. Leading to increased mileage and arriving at one the camps at 11PM in the dark. But it all worked out in the end roughly according to plan, as we managed to achieve our goal
all in one piece!

It was an amazing experience for all of us, testing our mental willpower and physical endurance all the way, rewarding us with magnificent views and fascinating pieces of history, and giving us a well rounded noteworthy adventure.

We developed and improved in many areas on this trip such as, teamwork and cooperation, allowing us to achieve a lot more then we ever could alone, in our physical strength and mental will, in our general problem solving and planning skills, and in our overall appreciation of the world.
