Their story, in their words…
I used the money given by the Mark Evison project to make a crochet club at my school, that included students and teachers. The club had many people coming in on a weekly basis and allowed me to teach this skill to a wider range of people.
It also challenged my ability to communicate procedural information to a varying group of people which meant I had to adapt how I conveyed the instructions to all the students. It was challenging getting everyone to come in every week because there were exams and trips taking place.
Overall, I am very proud that I was able to teach the members of the club the skills needed to make their own crochet projects that they will use to make projects we will use to fundraise.
