'Floor is Lava': Board game

Their story, in their words…

For my project I made my own board game around the theme of lava and a floating islands where players have to collect the most money while trying to survive and hope they dont run out of space

I think the project overall worked really well in the end, its was quite hard to make designs for the cards and everything because I had to make sure that they were the correct size as well and also watched a couple videos on what makes a good board game and i tried to remove as many factors that some bad board games had and included the best parts of good board games

The part i enjoyed most was making the physical game board and just setting a theme for the artwork of the game. It was truly satisfying seeing everything fall into place and just has a fully fledge board game with me

The biggest thing that I got out of the project was finally getting and finishing a board game that I thought of when I was 14, I was watching a video on a guy telling his story on how he made his board game and it inspired me and I was like ‘I want to do that’ so I thought of the idea and then sort put it aside then a year later I was board in class and I just remembered the game idea that I had so I just got pieces of paper and pencil and made the game and now after a few more years I finally got the opportunity to make it into something real
