Their story, in their words…
For my Mark Evison project, I made an app, where you upload images to it and an AI will analyse these images. The app will then sort the images into a respective category and subcategory based on the AI analysis.
Overall, I think this project was very successful, and I feel I learnt a lot when it came with working with AI and incorporating it into your program. From this project, I also learnt a new framework called Kivy, which has given me experience in app development, which I haven’t done before, and has given me more practice in programming.
However, when making this app, I did find it a bit difficult to find tutorials or guides to help me get started since Kivy is a niche framework, so I had to rely heavily on the Kivy documentation and some YouTube tutorials to teach me Kivy. However, I feel that all of that has paid off and I’m really happy with the result of the program.
