Pembroke-shire Coast Path

Their story, in their words…

Our team recently completed a five-day expedition along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. During the challenge, we walked approximately 10 kilometres each day, covering a significant distance while enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery and testing our physical and mental endurance.

Throughout the trip, we stayed at local campsites along the route. We were very grateful to the campsite owners, who kindly allowed us to camp free of charge. Their generosity and support made a big difference to our experience and helped us complete the challenge successfully.

The expedition worked out very well and gave us many opportunities to learn and develop important life skills. We gained valuable experience in survival skills, including setting up camp, managing our equipment, and adapting to different weather conditions. We also strengthened our teamwork skills by supporting one another, sharing responsibilities, and working together to overcome challenges along the way.

One of the most memorable parts of the expedition was meeting many kind and welcoming people. Throughout the journey, we met members of the local community who offered help, encouragement, and advice whenever we needed it. Their kindness made the experience even more enjoyable and showed us the value of helping others.

This experience made us feel proud of what we achieved as a team. Although the walks were demanding at times, the sense of accomplishment and the beautiful scenarey at the end of each day made the effort worthwhile. We created many great memories, enjoyed spending time together, and built stronger friendships through the shared experience.

Overall, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path challenge was an unforgettable opportunity that taught us resilience, teamwork, independence, and perseverance. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Mark Evison Foundation for providing us with this opportunity. We are also grateful to everyone we met along the way who helped make the expedition such a positive experience, shout out to Martin the ice-cream guy. It was a rewarding journey that we will remember for many years to come.
