The opportunity provided by my sixth from to independently write for a publisher was new and vague to me. Eventually I decided to complete 18 original poems with illustrations. Despite the ambiguous challenge with beginning each piece, I found the ownership of yet-to-be professional writing an inspiring activity, to confide in every choice of mine, to organise and plan the chronological order of my personal anthology by experience (or subject matter).
Any prospect of official production for my work allowed the hope and dedication necessary to my work ethic, which I will take to any of my writings. There could not be an efficient ‘thank you’ in exchange for this chance of a lifetime. This was by no means easy, but the encouraging of communication and individual choice combined to form an unwasted challenge, that I will never regret and always find memorable.
