1066 Country Walk

Their story, in their words…

For our challenge, we completed a 150km walk from Pevensey to Sandwich. It took a lot of planning, determination and teamwork to finish the whole route. Along the way we walked through lots of different places and kept each other motivated, especially when we started getting tired.

Overall, the challenge went really well. Although it was difficult at times, we managed to complete the full 150km and it felt like a huge achievement once we reached the finish. There were definitely moments where we wanted to stop, but encouraging each other helped us keep going.

We both really enjoyed taking part in the challenge. It pushed us outside our comfort zones and showed us that we could achieve something difficult if we stayed determined. It was also a great opportunity to spend time together and enjoy the experience, even when it was tough.

The biggest thing we got out of the challenge was the memories we made. Spending so much time together helped us build an even stronger friendship, and completing such a long walk gave us a real sense of pride. It also improved our confidence and proved that with hard work and perseverance, we can achieve goals that seem challenging at first.
