Their story, in their words…
Our trip to Scotland was the most refreshing and exiting experiences yet! The scenery was beautiful and people were very friendly. Everything went according to plan until the fifth day, when one member of our group sustained a minor foot injury, which meant it was too painful to continue the hike. Because of this we had to come up with a change of plans, so we took the train all the way to Fort William, our end destination, arrived there early. Because we were still eager to continue the hike, two members of our group decided to climb Ben Nevis, which was an amazing experience, which we researched in depth before attempting.
On the whole, our trip was filled with lake swimming, campfires, and sunshine, as it was 30 degrees and no rain the whole trip. Socially, the trip was an amazing bonding experience as we all got along well even when sharing a small tent and being together for almost 9 days straight. I’m sure we will all look back on these memories fondly, and we are all extremely grateful for being granted the opportunity to complete this challenge.
