Chloe and Lucy

Short film

Their story, in their words….

We made a short film about adolescent friendships. The experience was truly enriching it gave us the opportunity to try things that we have never done before such as scriptwriting and using camera equipment without any external help.

This experience drastically improved our problem-solving abilities as we encountered a lot of problems with the camera equipment hire company which ultimately delayed the making of our film as on multiple occasions they misplaced parts of the equipment before delivery and delivered faulty equipment. However, despite this, we still managed to be flexible to these issues and were able to stay motivated and work as a team to complete this project and continue to work extremely hard on it. Prior to filming, we didn’t anticipate the vast amount of work it took to produce a film but we were able to adapt to unforeseen challenges.

This experience was extremely beneficial as it gave us the independence to work through challenges and complications on our own which would be expected of us later in our lives. Overall, making this film was fun and allowed us to build upon our teamwork skills!
