Their story, in their words…
Throughout our 3 days at the Lake District all three of us can agree that we have most definitely developed many skills on this journey.
On the first day of being at the Lake District we decided to hike up to the closest mountain which was a great experience. On the second day we encountered a problem as we did not have enough water and we could not find a clean water source. This meant that we had to hike down from Easdale tarn to the town and back up to obtain clean water that would last us two more days.
On the last day we decided to hike up a different mountain that was slightly larger than the previous mountain, we also decided that we should camp at a different place on this night as it would mean we were closer to the town and would have to spend less time hiking down the mountain with all our bags.
All three of us felt that this trip undeniably one of the best adventures we have had and has been a great eye opener to go on more trips just like this. There were a few difficulties we encountered like a water source for example or the amount of moss there was on the ground or the bugs that were becoming increasingly more annoying in the tent as the days went on but in the end the pros far outweighed the cons of this trip and it was truly an amazing experience.
