The Mousai Singers, directed by Daniel Cook in a programme including Vaughan Williams' Mass in G Minor, and Parry's Songs of Farewell, as well as Holst's Nunc Dimittis, and Stanford's Magnificat for Double Choir, amongst others. The Mousai Singers are a new consort group of 8 young singers, most former choristers of Cathedrals such as Salisbury,Winchester, Chichester, Hereford, and Guildford, directed by Mr Cook, who is soon to take up the post of Organist at St David's Cathedral. They specialise in choral music from across the repertoire, and have sung services in Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals, as well as giving concerts in Hartlepool, and here inGuildford. Two members are former pupils of Charterhouse School, Godalming – as was Mark.
